According to the National Stroke Association, there are nearly 4 million people in the United States who have survived a Stroke and are living with the after effects. Your doctor may refer to stroke as a CVA (Cerebral Vascular accident), a ICH (intracranial hemorrhage) or an AVM (arteriovenus malformation),to name a few medical terms for stroke.
Once at Spalding, patients receive approximately 3 hours of skilled therapy provided by a team of professionals. Team members become involved with patients based on each patient's individual needs and impairments.

Continuing Care
Many patients are referred to ourDay Rehabilitation Program, upon discharge from the hospital, to continue their intensive rehabilitation.
